Shirin Ansariashlaghi
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, where I developed a strong foundation in molecular design and synthetic methodologies. Following my studies, I worked at the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Center, Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinical Sciences Institute, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, focusing on the synthesis of novel chemical structures for biomedical applications.
Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Materials Engineering at James Cook University. My research focuses on photochromic compounds, specifically investigating how molecular architecture and corresponding free volume influence the photoswitching behavior of these materials in the solid state.
