Yashodha Kondarage

As a PhD scholar at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, I am deeply engaged in pioneering research within the field of Materials Science and Engineering. My academic foundation includes a B.Tech. (Sp.) degree in Science and Technology from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka, with a specialization in Materials Science and Technology, followed by an M.Sc. in Materials Science from the University of Moratuwa. Before embarking on my doctoral studies, I gained three years of experience as a lecturer in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. This role not only refined my teaching abilities but also intensified my passion for research and innovation. My research interests encompass a broad spectrum within Materials Science and Engineering, including composite materials, nanotechnology, catalysts, EMI shielding materials, polymer science and technology, and sustainable materials. I am driven by a commitment to addressing complex challenges in these areas, with a focus on developing innovative solutions that contribute to the advancement of the field. I thrive in collaborative environments, bringing energy, determination, and a strong commitment to achieving excellence in every project I undertake.
