This presentation provides an overview of modular ligand design in main-group chemistry, highlighting how subtle differences in chemical structure can elicit divergent and unprecedented modes of reactivity at main-group element centres. We will discuss previously published results in this area, together with our recent developments, to highlight our direction and objectives moving forward.
