Kurt Macri
I completed my undergraduate studies at ECU in 2022, obtaining a double major in Applied Chemistry and Aviation. In 2025, I was awarded a Master of Science by Research at ECU, with a focus on developing novel thin-film catalysts for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide to ethylene. Building upon this research, I commenced my PhD in mid-2025 to further advance this innovative and impactful project. The overarching aim of this research is to facilitate potential industrial applications that contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and the mitigation of anthropogenic environmental impacts.
