Wenchao Duan
Dr. Wenchao Duan received his PhD in Materials Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona between 2018 and 2022. His research interests span electroanalytical chemistry, materials science, and machine learning-assisted sensing technologies.
Dr. Duan is currently an Early Career Researcher at CSIRO, where he focuses on the development of machine learning-driven, compact, and user-friendly electrochemical sensors for the rapid detection and monitoring of contaminants in food, water, and agricultural systems. His work integrates advanced nanomaterials, electrochemical sensing platforms, and data-driven analytical approaches to enable fast, sensitive, and portable detection technologies for real-world applications.
