Magdalena Wajrak

Magdalena Wajrak completed her PhD in Quantum/Theoretical Chemistry from UWA and a Diploma of Secondary Education from ECU. She is currently a senior lecturer in the School of Science at ECU. Her primary research focuses on electrochemistry, particularly the development of onsite methods for detecting heavy metals using anodic stripping voltammetry and the creation of novel pH sensors. In 2021, Dr Wajrak embarked on a new research project in the field of electrochemical catalytic reduction of carbon dioxide (eCO2RR), in collaboration with Curtin University and the WA School of Mines: Minerals, Energy, and Chemical Engineering.
