Ameen Shahid
Dr. Ameen Shahid is a chemical engineer and academic currently serving as Assistant Professor at New Uzbekistan University, with expertise in catalysis, reaction engineering, and environmental chemistry. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, and held postdoctoral and research appointments at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia) and Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany). He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering (2018) and MSc in Advanced Materials and Processes (2012) from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering (2009) from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. His research focuses on NH3-SCR catalysis, N2O decomposition, direct benzene oxidation, mesoporous zeolites, catalyst deactivation, and environmental applications.
