Fernando Maya Alejandro
Fernando completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain).
After that, he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to conduct postdoctoral research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (USA), followed by two additional research fellowships at the University of the Balearic Islands.
In 2018, he joined the University of Tasmania as a Lecturer in Chemistry. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry and a member of the Australian Centre for Research on Separation Science (ACROSS).
His research focuses on the development of novel materials and separation technologies for analytical and environmental applications.
