Nehemiah Mukwevho
I am currently technical supervisor at Mintek and PhD student. My research centres around environmental chemistry with the focus on river pollution. I have 24 years of professional experience, which includes work on the development of analytical methods. I embarked on the research study to identify the sources of pollutants, specifically toxic elements and other critical minerals, that are progressively influencing the quality of freshwater ecosystems to gain a better understanding of the environmental challenges. My work combines advanced analytical techniques such as ICP, AAS, and XRF with spatial and statistical analysis to assess environmental pollution and associated risks.I have several research papers published in reputable journals
