Julia Huang is a PhD candidate in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland, supervised by Professor Avril Robertson and Dr Jemma Mayall. Her research lies at the interface of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology, focusing on the design and synthesis of small‑molecule inflammasome inhibitors for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, and cyclic lipopeptide antifungals targeting invasive fungal infections.
