Kate Flint
Kate completed her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Adelaide, under the supervision of Em. Prof. F. Richard Keene and Prof. Christopher Sumby, investigating the biological interactions of ruthenium supramolecular assemblies. Following this she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Adelaide with Prof. Christian Doonan, exploring framework materials for biomolecule encapsulation and catalysis, before joining the Prescott Environmental Luminescence Laboratory at the Institute for Advanced Photonics, studying the novel luminescence properties of hazardous materials and repurposing of historical mine waste for radiopharmaceutical development. In July 2026 Kate joins Flinders University as a Lecturer in Chemistry.
