Manal Alwahsh is a PhD student at the Department of Chemistry, University of Sydney under the supervision of Prof. Elizabeth New. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Jordan, where she focused on computational and solid-state methods to study non-covalent interactions. Her PhD projects focus on developing sensors for bioimaging, including fluorescent sensors for hypoxia and bimodal fluorescence-IR sensors for metal ions.
