Kevin Krause
Kevin Krause received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering and his master’s in chemical engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Monash Nanoscale Electrochemistry Group at Monash University, Melbourne, supervised by Cameron Bentley, and is also part of CSIRO’s Sensor Development Team within the Mineral Resources research unit, under the supervision of Krishnan Murugappan. His research focuses on advancing scanning electrochemical cell microscopy (SECCM) and applying it to probe the microscale electrochemical behaviour of conducting polymers. By developing SECCM capabilities and using them to uncover structure–function relationships, his work contributes to the fundamental understanding needed to guide the design of improved conducting‑polymer‑based sensing technologies.
