Guohua Jia

Dr. Guohua Jia is a full Professor and an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow in the School of Molecular and Life Sciences at Curtin University, Australia. He was awarded an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) in 2015 and ARC Future Fellowship in 2021. His research mainly focuses on the chemistry and physics of colloidal nanocrystals, with particular emphasis on their shape-dependent properties and applications in lighting and displays, catalysis, solar energy harvesting and storage. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (FRACI) and serves as the Chair of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) Materials Chemistry Division. He is the Editor of Materials & Design (Elsevier), Materials Today Chemistry (Elsevier), Journal of Information Display (Taylor & Francis), and Australian Journal of Chemistry (CSIRO), and an advisory board member for six journals.
