Chantelle Falanga
Chantelle Falanga is a PhD candidate in chemistry at Adelaide University. In 2024, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide, and her passion for environmental and analytical chemistry led her to undertake a research project investigating high redox potential photocatalysts for the breakdown of persistent pollutants in 2025. Under the supervision of Dr Cameron Shearer, Chantelle explored niobium-based metal oxide materials for the remediation of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and tyre wear pollutants. Now, she is undertaking a PhD exploring high redox potential photocatalysts for pollutant remediation applications.
