Sandra Wiedbrauk
Dr Sandra Wiedbrauk is a Research Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry at the Queensland University of Technology. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of novel antimicrobial compounds to combat antimicrobial resistance, particularly through targeting bacterial biofilms and antibiotic resistance mechanisms. She also has expertise in molecular photoswitches, functional materials, and UV-responsive sensors. Dr Wiedbrauk has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers, secured competitive research funding, and presented invited talks at national and international conferences.
