Samira Sadeghi
Samira Sadeghi is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at Edith Cowan University, focusing on the development of adsorptive and photocatalytic materials for the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and organic dyes from water. She completed an industry internship with the Water & Carbon Group, where she contributed to PFAS remediation projects, and currently works as a Research Assistant on industry-focused environmental research. In recognition of her research impact and industry collaboration, she received the Excellence in Innovation Award (Impact Category) at Collaborate Innovate 2025.
