Sofia Lazareva
A School of Environmental Sciences PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, I am researching and developing ways to capture, store and utilize CO2 through highly porous materials (particularly MOFs), amino acids and electrochemistry. My aim is to create effective and feasible approach and materials for use in industrial applications to eliminate CO2 emissions and achieve the net-zero goal.
I am passionate about sustainable living and balancing human activity with the nature. As a creative person, my interests include sustainable fashion and meditation as other ways of balancing myself and the world around.
