Rabia R Jamil
Rabia Jamil is a fourth‑year PhD student in chemistry at Curtin University under the supervision of Professor Debbie Silvester. Her research investigates how ionic liquids and ionic liquid–aqueous mixtures modify the electrochemical interface during metal electrodeposition, with a focus on early‑stage nucleation and growth processes. Using a combination of electrochemical measurements and morphological analysis, her work aims to establish mechanistic links between electrolyte composition and metal deposition behaviour. This research contributes to a fundamental understanding of ionic‑liquid‑modified interfaces and supports the rational design of electrolytes for advanced and sustainable electrochemical applications.
