Ivana Troppová
I serve as a Senior Researcher within the Research Group of Preparation of Materials and Waste Recovery at the Institute of Environmental Technology (CEET, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic). Since obtaining my Ph.D. in Environmental Protection in Industry in 2011, I have dedicated my career to advancing sustainable environmental solutions.
My current research activities are centered on environmental photo/catalysis, the catalytic oxidation and adsorption of VOCs, and the valorization of waste into high-value products. I focuse on the synthesis of nanostructured materials-particularly those based on metal oxides, lanthanoids, and activated carbon-utilizing advanced sol-gel techniques across various substrates.
Throughout my research career, I have co-authored 40 scientific publications, which have garnered over 1,240 citations, resulting in an H-index of 19 (WoS).
