Christopher Marsh
Chris is a Professional Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, having joined the institution in early 2026. Drawing on a research background in the chemistry of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), his primary interests lie in chemical education and laboratory pedagogy. Chris is passionate about designing practical courses that do more than just train future scientists; he focuses on equipping students with robust, transferable skills that ensure success both within and beyond the laboratory. Prior to his move to New Zealand, he spent over four years as a Laboratory Teaching Fellow at the University of Leicester, where he specialised in the design, delivery, and development of chemistry teaching laboratory courses for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.
