Samuel Adeloju
Samuel Adeloju is a distinguished chemistry educator, researcher, and higher education leader with extensive experience as Deputy Dean, Head of School, Head of Department, Research Centre Director, and Executive Director across multiple leading universities in Australia. He is recognised internationally for pioneering contributions in conducting polymers, biosensors, nanobiosensors, electroanalytical chemistry, nanomaterials, and microbial fuel cells. He was awarded multiple prestigious Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) Medals for his research in these areas, including the Applied Research Medal (2009), R.H. Stokes Medal for Electrochemistry (2011), Doreen Clark Medal for Analytical Chemistry (2013) and a Citation for Excellence in Leadership & Service (2017). He served as a Senior Foreign Expert under the China Talent-1000 Program (2010-2015) and as a Visiting Professor in Sweden, UK, China, Malaysia and Fiji. He is currently an Adjunct Research Professor of Chemistry at Monash University and Editor-in-Chief for Biosensors and Biomolecular Electronics; Editor-in-Chief for Bioelectrochemical Systems and Applications; and Section Editor-in-Chief for Chemical and Molecular Sciences of the Applied Sciences Journal.
