Sam Chen
Sam Chen is a Senior Lecturer and leads the Artificial Materials Lab at the University of Newcastle. He was awarded a PhD in Chemistry in 2014 from the University of Western Australia (UWA), followed by postdoctoral experiences at Flinders University, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), and University of New South Wales (UNSW). His group focuses on various aspects of advanced materials, particularly carbon materials, from developing new synthesis strategies, understanding of structures and properties, to the applications of new materials.
