Yijun Zhong
Dr Yijun Zhong is an ARC DECRA Fellow and Research Fellow in Chemical Engineering at The Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), Curtin University. His research focuses on electrochemical energy materials for next-generation batteries, including proton batteries, solid-state battery materials, and sustainable energy-storage technologies. He is particularly interested in linking materials design, electrochemistry, and practical device performance. Alongside his research, he contributes to engineering education through research-led teaching in energy technologies, mineral processing, and chemical separation.
