Afzal Mr Afzal
Afzal is a chemical engineer with a focus on advanced energy storage technologies. He earned his Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, China, specializing on hydrocarbon-based polymer membranes for redox flow battery systems with Prof. Dr He Gaohong. Currently he is pursuing a PhD at the RMIT University under the supervision of Dr Subashani Maniam and Assoc. Prof. Lathe Jones on the development of anolyte active materials based on quinones for aqueous organic redox flow batteries, with an interest in safe, efficient, and sustainable electrochemical energy storage systems.
