Finn M Holman
I am an undergraduate student at Curtin University, currently in my 3rd year of a Bachelor of Advanced Science in Chemistry. As a student in the Advanced Science course, I have had the opportunity to take on supervised research with academics at my institution, including two 6-week mini-research projects. These projects have been in the areas of efficient synthesis for pharmaceutical applications, and computational chemistry with a focus on using 3D models of molecules for applications in chemical education. I am currently working on a year-long project investigating the photophysical properties of transition metal and lanthanide complexes. I hope to continue on this path of research in the future, utilising the experiences I have had in multiple fields to work on more interdisciplinary projects.
