Sachini Dissanayake
Sachini Dissanayake is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University, Australia. She is an Honours graduate in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Her research focuses on the design and development of self-healing epoxy materials based on dynamic boronic ester chemistry, with an emphasis on understanding the interplay between network architecture, environmental conditions, and healing performance. Her work aims to develop sustainable polymer systems capable of autonomously repairing damage while maintaining the mechanical properties required for practical engineering applications.
