Rohan Borah
Rohan is the Chief Science officer at Allegro Energy, a Newcastle based startup building long duration energy storage solutions for a renewable grid. Rohan grew up right next to the Chemistry department of his hometown Science college and ever since has been fascinatewd by chemicals in day to day life. By profession Rohan has been a materials chemist/electrochemist for his career in science for 18 years. He holds a strong passion for the environment and has dedicated his career to making sustainable energy storage available to all. After moving to Newcastle in 2019, Rohan has closely followed the energy transition in the Hunter region and works towards a smooth transition to a net zero economy.
