Simon W Lewis
Professor Simon Lewis leads the Forensic and Analytical Chemistry Research Group at Curtin University, with research interests in latent fingermark chemistry, analysis of forensic trace evidence, and sustainable forensic science service provision. He is on the editorial advisory boards of the Journal of Forensic Identification, Forensic Chemistry and Forensic Science International: Synergy and the section editor (Chemistry) for the Elsevier Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences (3rd Edition, 2023). He served on the Program Advisory Committee for the Infrared Beamline (2012-2014) and the Scientific Advisory Committee (2017-2023) of the Australian Synchrotron. He is currently Head of the School of Molecular and Life Sciences at Curtin University.
